Topics in Teaching Workshop Series

Running one day each month beginning September and running through November 2025, Topics in Teaching is a series of one-hour workshops planned as short presentation and discussion for TAs. The goal of these workshops is to to develop learning environments that promote well-being, belongingness, and flourishing.

Exploring Pedagogical Wellness: Integrating Teaching and Well-Being for Classroom

This interactive workshop introduces the framework of pedagogical wellness, the intentional
integration of evidence-based teaching practices and wellness strategies to support
both student and instructor well-being. Participants will explore practical approaches
to creating a more supportive, engaging, and sustainable learning environment that
fosters academic success and holistic wellness in the classroom.
