ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ has partnered with edX since 2020 to offer free online courses and programs to a global audience. Our 43 courses and ten programs cover topics from fisheries to arctic security and continue to grow.
edX is a global online education platform founded by MIT and Harvard in 2012 that has reached 70 million learners across the globe. ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵX courses share ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ’s expertise with the world and communicate our role as a leader in climate change research, indigenous studies, Arctic and circumpolar studies and geospatial science.
All ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵX courses are MOOCs – Massive Open Online Courses, meaning that there are no enrollment caps. All content is offered for free, with the option for learners to upgrade to the verified track. This paid track provides a grade and proof of completion.
