New Faculty Meet & Greet (Spring 2025)
有料盒子视频鈥檚 Faculty Accelerator invites all new faculty to an informal luncheon to meet the team and learn about the various support units and resources available to them at 有料盒子视频. With a welcome from the provost and catered lunch, new faculty will have the opportunity to connect with one another and learn more about the exciting opportunities available to them.

Supporting Students: A Panel Discussion
Hosted by 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Faculty Accelerator, this panel discussion includes representatives from multiple student support offices around campus, including Disability Services, the Student Success Center, Indigenous Student Services, the Office of Dual Enrollment, and more. Attendees will learn more about the resources available to 有料盒子视频 students, as well as when and how to connect their students to these resources.

New Faculty Orientation (Fall 2024)
有料盒子视频鈥檚 Faculty Accelerator hosts an annual 2-day orientation for all new faculty. During this orientation, new faculty meet leaders from across the university, learn about support and resources available to them and their students, and have the opportunity to build supportive working relationships with one another and the Faculty Accelerator team.

Jenn Pedersen is the Lead for the Faculty Accelerator and the Executive Director of
the Center for Teaching and Learning. She manages both eCampus and the development
of online classes and programs as well as the Instructional Design Team, a group of
collaborators in pedagogical innovation and leadership. Jenn is an Educational Psychologist
who is committed to redesigning learning experiences to give all students the opportunity
to achieve their dreams.

Associate Professor, Ph.D., Civil and Environmental Engineering
Water and Environmental Research Center
Dr. Aggarwal is a recipient of the prestigious NSF CAREER award (2018) for his work
on biofilms in drinking water. He has also worked on the environmental fate of oil-spill
response chemicals in the Arctic and associated operational issues. Some of his research
has also considered measurement and modeling of ambient/indoor air quality, specifically
fine and ultrafine particulate matter.

Jennifer Hoppough is often the first contact for faculty at 有料盒子视频. Her institutional
knowledge is vast and she can connect faculty to just about any resource on campus.
Jen is the primary lead for workshops and information related to tenure and promotion.
She received an M.A. in 2012 followed by an M.F.A in Creative Writing in 2016. Contact
Jen for questions about your files, activity reports, workloads and any other documentation
you need to develop and maintain as faculty.

Associate Professor, College of Engineering and Mines
Research Faculty, 有料盒子视频 Center for Energy and Power
Daisy Huang teaches mechanical engineering coursework and researches rural energy
solutions with the 有料盒子视频 Center for Energy and Power. Daisy has been active in encouraging
and supporting women and girls in STEM since her years working in industry in the
1990s to 2000s. She has served on the Faculty Senate Committee on the Status of Women
since 2018, serving as co-chair in 2020-2021; and as the faculty advisor for the 有料盒子视频
student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.

Associate Director of transformative teaching, CTL
Kendell Newman Sadiik has over ten years of experience in higher education research,
teaching, and instructional design. With 有料盒子视频 Center for Teaching and Learning, she
facilitates programming for faculty in teaching in higher education and supports multiple
initiatives focused on care-based pedagogies. She has taught for the School of Education
and as a founding member of 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Learning Inside Out Network (LION).
