The Center for Teaching & Learning provides media support for 有料盒子视频 faculty in multiple ways, including our ArcticV奴 studio, the Teaching & Learning Studio, Irving Studio, licenses for WeVideo editing software, and equipment loans. ArcticV奴 Studio
The ArcticV奴 Studio, located at 375a Rasmuson Library, is an actively managed professional studio space outfitted with a V奴One Mini LED wall.
This wall is capable of suiting a variety of video production needs where skillful storytelling is able to shine by bringing cinematic-quality realism to educational media. Its real-time rendering capabilities, immersive environments, and ease of use open the door to a wide range of academic, research, outreach, and operational applications.

Please note that use of this studio is dependent on staffing availability.
Potential use cases include but are not limited to:
- Immersive Educational Content: Enables dynamic environments for faculty to teach complex concepts鈥攕uch as geological layers, molecular structures, or historical reenactments鈥攊n context-rich, visual formats that the presenter can themselves see.
- Athletics and Sports Training: Creates highlight reels, recruitment videos, and virtual training environments for student-athletes.
- Revenue Generation: Enables direct cost recovery through grant-funded media deliverables, research communication, and industry partnerships. A tiered access model will ensure free use for academics and athletics while generating revenue from external users.
- Research Simulations: Supports realistic scenario-based training and simulation for emergency response, environmental forecasting, and behavioral studies.
- Creative Media Production: Enhances narrative storytelling, filmmaking, and digital art projects with real-time visual effects and virtually unlimited location options.
- Cross-Disciplinary Innovation: Encourages collaboration between STEM, arts, humanities, and social sciences through shared use and project-based learning opportunities.

Teaching & Learning Studio
The Teaching & Learning Studio in Bunnell 143C (inside the CTL offices) is a rapidly reservable or drop-in space available to all 有料盒子视频 affiliates, including students. The studio is equipped with a lightboard.
After a short training to use this space, users can schedule time in the room via Google Calendar and use the room during normal business hours of CTL.
Special Features
The Teaching & Learning Studio features a smaller 44 inch lightboard that functions as one integrated system and has a built-in PC with a control panel. This allows for users to connect live to a Zoom session, quickly adjust display settings, or use graphic overlays in their productions. Irving Media Studio
The Irving Media Studio, located in Irving 1, Room 303, is available to faculty to create their own lightboard productions in a 鈥渙ne button鈥 DIY recording environment.
Faculty can request a training to use this space, and then will be given calendar and card swipe access to use the room at their own convenience. Please fill out the to set up a training.
The studio also features a 鈥淲hisper Room鈥 recording booth that is ideal for recording audio voiceovers, podcasts and interviews.
有料盒子视频 Center for Teaching and Learning manages this space in cooperation with the Institute for Arctic Biology and the Department of Biology and Wildlife.
WeVideo Video Editing Software
有料盒子视频 Center for Teaching and Learning provides access to WeVideo to all 有料盒子视频 staff, students and faculty. WeVideo is a cloud-based video editor that allows collaboration on video edits and the ease of working with shared media, along with screen recording capabilities.
