TUITION AWARDS
As one initiative to encourage student success, eCampus covered the tuition cost for 120 summer credits.
WEBSITE REDESIGN
In May, was redesigned with the student experience in mind.
Each online degree program was given its own page that lists required courses, cost
breakdowns and potential careers. Contact forms were implemented throughout to give
users a quick, easy way to connect with 有料盒子视频.
STUDENT SUCCESS RATE
Absolute success requires a grade of C- or higher. In the past five years student success in eCampus-supported courses has increased nearly 10%.
有料盒子视频 TESTS PROCTORED
The eCampus Exam Center proctors tests on-site and facilitates proctoring services around the world for students without access to campus.
DEPARTMENT SUPPORT
TARGETED WORKSHOPS
To provide more tailored support for 有料盒子视频鈥檚 academic departments, eCampus launched departmental iTeach workshops that focus on the specific needs of those faculty and students.

Offerings range from occupational endorsements to graduate degrees.

BACHELOR OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT RANKS #5
有料盒子视频鈥檚 Homeland Security and Emergency Management program was included . The BEM also added concentrations in Cyber Security and Emergency Medical Management.
Reaching Students by Radio
In partnership with Allied Health program leadership and Student Services at 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Kuskokwim Campus, we launched a summer-long radio campaign highlighting a variety of online programs and resources available to students in the Bethel region.
有料盒子视频 eCampus provides marketing assistance to all academic departments, including the College of Rural and Community Development, which is home to the Allied Health program.
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
OPEN LAB HOURS
Launched in October 2015, open labs (offered at least three times a week) provide faculty a convenient time and place to ask questions about technology and pedagogy.
QUALITY MATTERS
有料盒子视频 eCampus is now dedicated to the faculty-centered, peer review process known as Quality Matters. Three of 有料盒子视频 eCampus鈥檚 instructional designers are certified peer reviewers and all are trained to apply the Quality Matters rubric, supporting the continuous improvement of online and hybrid courses.
ONE-STOP CALENDAR
To make instructors鈥 lives easier, eCampus created a joint calendar that features all faculty development events available to 有料盒子视频 instructors. This is a partnership with the Office of Faculty Development and Office of Information Technology.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
HOURS OF WORKSHOPS
New workshops, called iTeach+, were developed to help instructors enhance or change their approach to face-to-face and online classes. During these 1- to 2-hour workshops instructional designers and faculty share pedagogical practices, new software applications or course-building approaches.
BUILD-A-COURSE SERIES
In the summer of 2016 instructional designers began offering five-part workshops for instructors building new online courses. For one hour a week, faculty on campus or via a Google Hangout on Air go over their syllabus, content, activities, assessments or technology tools.

TECHNOLOGY AND ELEARNING PROGRAM
Dr. Peter Westley, of the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, is developing a course (first offered in spring 2016) titled Salmon & Society in which students explore the complex and sometimes contentious relationships between salmon and people. Dr. Abel Bult-Ito, of the Biology & Wildlife Department, is developing a set of fully online behavioral neuroscience research lab courses using live mice 鈥 the world鈥檚 first online courses to use live animal research. These courses are available to students and professionals around the world. Take a peek inside the course!
DISTINGUISHED FACULTY
Twelve CITE Fellows are currently working on their projects, supported by the instructional design team as well as former CITE Fellows. The total number of faculty who have participated in the program is now 21.
