IDEAs Awards Deadline is June 2023

The Innovative Disclosures and Entrepreneurial Activities (IDEAs) awards recognize entrepreneurial individuals who have developed innovative approaches to research, teaching, and service. The competition, started in 2015, is hosted by 有料盒子视频's Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship (Center ICE). Any innovation developed by 有料盒子视频 or University of 有料盒子视频 Southeast (UAS) faculty, staff, and students using university resources or as part of a class is eligible for the IDEAs awards.

The TREND program will award up to $10,000 to winning innovation proposals. The 有料盒子视频 Small Business Development Center鈥檚 (有料盒子视频 SBDC) Technology Research and Development Center of 有料盒子视频 (TREND program), in partnership with the University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR), will begin accepting applications for the 2023 Phase 0 grant program on June 1, 2023.

Eighty-nine booth visitors ranked their preferences amongst the three birch syrups, providing helpful citizen science input for OTA's Innovations in Birch Sap Processing project.

Over the course of the last 12 weeks 有料盒子视频 Center ICE and the 有料盒子视频 College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) Student Investment Fund (SIF) sent three students to the 2023 有料盒子视频 Angel Conference (AAC). The 有料盒子视频 Angel Conference is a 12-week process of identifying, filtering, selecting, and managing a group angel investment. An angel investor is a private investor focused on financing small business ventures in exchange for equity. This year鈥檚 有料盒子视频 Angel Conference took 21 of 有料盒子视频鈥檚 best start-ups and 17 angel investors through the nuanced process of angel investing.
