Mental Health First Aid Classes offered in Spring

Student Health and Counseling will be teaching Mental Health First Aid to those interested on March 23-24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and April 13-14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This course is open to any student, staff, faculty or member of the administration and will cover very valuable information to be used personally and professionally.

Faculty survey on Open Education Resources

The Faculty Senate Open Education Resources Ad Hoc Committee invites ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ faculty to take a brief survey to assess OER use, creation, and interest across ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ, and to collect information about specific courses that are using no or low-cost (NoLo) course materials.

Deadline to apply for graduation is March 1, 2023

The late deadline for students to apply for graduation is March 1, 2023. Graduates must submit their application to Degree Services by 11:59 p.m. Graduates who have already applied or graduated who plan to participate in the commencement ceremony on May 6 must RSVP for the ceremony by April 15.

Last year, ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ's Community and Technical College joined many other units across ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ in embarking on a strategic enrollment planning process. SEP is a data-informed process designed to help groups identify, evaluate and modify strategies and enrollment goals. Through the work of numerous committees driven by faculty and staff, CTC identified several promising strategies to both maximize existing programs and develop new initiatives.

Request for Proposal for capital projects - FY25 budget cycle

In preparation for the FY25 budget cycle, the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services Julie Queen is soliciting funding proposals for capital projects, major facility refresh/renovation, or research/IT equipment from ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ faculty and staff. Capital project requests are typically large-scale one-time funding items. Requests may include modifications or updates to existing capital plan items.

Giving Day starts at 10 p.m. on Feb. 21 and runs for 49 hours through 10:50 p.m. on Feb. 23. We're inviting the entire ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ community to join us in participating in UA Giving Day 2023 so all of our alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends can directly support ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ. Last year, about 750 alumni, donors and supporters took the time to give a combined $664,000 to support students and programs at ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ, and with challenges available this year, we could supersize our donations to support even more programs and research vital to the community and state.

This full-day action-packed camp is designed to provide a wide range of sports activities including but not limed to basketball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, capture the flag, soccer, and more.

BLaST Celebrates Scientist of the Month for February
