ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Steel Bridge Team shines at regionals

The College of Engineering and Mines is proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Steel Bridge Team at the ASCE Pacific Northwest Regional Competition!
With an impressive build time of 10:05 — and no penalties — the team secured 1st place in Construction Speed. They also brought home:
- 1st in Structural Efficiency
- 2nd in Lightness
- 2nd in Cost Estimation
- 2nd in Construction Economy
- 3rd in Stiffness
- 3rd in Aesthetics
The team finished 2nd Overall, narrowly trailing the University of British Columbia. They will represent ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ at the national competition this summer, and fundraising efforts will kick off soon to support their journey.
