The College of Engineering and Mines is proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ Steel Bridge Team at the ASCE Pacific Northwest Regional Competition!

With an impressive build time of 10:05 — and no penalties — the team secured 1st place in Construction Speed. They also brought home:

  • 1st in Structural Efficiency
  • 2nd in Lightness
  • 2nd in Cost Estimation
  • 2nd in Construction Economy
  • 3rd in Stiffness
  • 3rd in Aesthetics

The team finished 2nd Overall, narrowly trailing the University of British Columbia. They will represent ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓÆµ at the national competition this summer, and fundraising efforts will kick off soon to support their journey.
