Fact check: ANLC is not closing

A guest opinion in the Anchorage Daily News late last week prompted posts on social media saying that ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ was planning to close the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Native Language Center. Both the guest's opinion and the social media posts were incorrect.

ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ is not planning to eliminate the ANLC, nor is it planning to eliminate ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Native language instruction or programs. The Anchorage Daily News has since added a correction to the guest opinion.
