Snapmaker 3D Printing

Snapmaker Luban is used as the slicer for these printers, which

Setting up a 3D Print job on Snapmaker Luban:

  1. Select the 3D Printing option on the main screen.

  2. Make sure the correct machine (Snapmaker Artisan) and material are selected.

  3. Import an .stl file into the workspace.

  4. Enter the parameters for the material you are using.

Otherwise, use the following settings:

(if the settings are not specified here, use the default value)

  1. Layers: 

    1. Layer Height: 0.16mm

  2. Infill:

    1. Infill Density: 20% (but can be changed based on your desired strength)

    2. Infill Pattern: Cubic

  3. Additions:

    1. Build Plate Adhesion Type: Skirt

    2. Skirt Line Count: 2

    3. Skirt Distance: 4mm

  4. Cooling:

    1. Enable Print Cooling: Yes

  5. Supports (if needed): Normal Supports

    1. Support Placement: Everywhere

    2. Support Pattern: Lines

    3. Support Density: 10%

Printing

  1. Once the model has the correct settings, click "Generate G-code" and then load G-code to workspace.

  2. In Luban Workspace:

    1. Connect to Snapmaker via Wifi 

    2. Click Send to Device via Wifi 

  3. On the Snapmaker touchscreen, select your file and press start.
